SICOMIN TO PRESENT ADVANCED EPOXY SOLUTIONS FOR OFFSHORE AND AUTOMOTIVE MARKETS AT JEC AMERICAS 2015

19th May 2015, Marseille, France - Sicomin will be exhibiting at the JEC Americas Show in Houston from the 2nd - 4th June. The company will be showcasing a range of casting epoxy systems that can be used for offshore applications and presenting Top Clear resin system for the coating of automotive components.

Epoxies for large volume offshore applications

Sicomin’s lightweight casting epoxies feature a high strength-to-density ratio allowing them to withstand the pressure of very deep water. This makes them ideally suited to the extremes of offshore applications such as casting buoyancy modules, buoyancy blocks for undersea vehicles, deep offshore oil exploitation and tidal energy components.

Top Clear for automotive applications

To help automotive parts manufacturers adapt to increased production volumes, Sicomin has developed Top Clear. Top Clear is a 2 component, translucent coating system with a very rapid drying time that allows users to speed up the production cycle. The range is suitable for use on interior car components and offers a perfect finish, with a scratch resistance surface and complete UV protection.
