ISOBOND SR 740
Epoxy resin
ISOBOND SR 740
Product description:
The ISOBOND SR 740 system is a next-generation structural epoxy adhesive specifically formulated for producing bonded joints up to 25 mm thick.
Thanks to its high toughness and excellent fatigue resistance, it is a preferred choice for structural bonding applications subjected to significant dynamic loads.
Designed for multi-material applications, it offers low toxicity, a high glass transition temperature, and is currently undergoing Lloyd’s Register certification. Also available in a 400 ml two-component cartridge for simplified application.
ISOBOND SR 740 is used with SD 74x hardeners, available in fast, standard, and slow versions. This range allows precise adjustment of clamp waiting times, pressure holding times, and curing speed according to assembly constraints and workshop conditions.
Hardeners
ISOBOND SD 743
Slow hardener.
Suitable for assemblies requiring extended open time and gradual application of pressure.
Mix ratio: 100:43 by weight – 100:50 by volume.
Tg max = 68 °C.
ISOBOND SD 745
Standard hardener.
Recommended for structural bonding applications requiring a good balance between working time and mechanical performance.
Mix ratio: 100:43 by weight – 100:50 by volume.
Tg max = 78 °C.
ISOBOND SD 746
Fast hardener.
Ideal for assemblies requiring rapid strength build-up and high production rates.
Mix ratio: 100:43 by weight – 100:50 by volume.
Tg max = 78 °C.
