SR 1700

Epoxy resin

SR 1700

Product description:

High-modulus, highly wettable epoxy resin for the manufacture of composite structures subject to high thermomechanical stress.

Excellent compatibility with glass, carbon, aramid, basalt and natural fibre reinforcements and suitable for contact lamination and vacuum bagging.

This epoxy system has proven its performance for many years in the construction of ocean racing boats (IMOCA, ULTIM, CLASS 40).

Description of hardeners SD 280x:

Ultra-slow SD 2801 and very fast SD 2806 hardeners can be mixed in any proportion to obtain intermediate reactivities.

Description of hardeners SD 7820:

A very slow system for the production of parts or tooling requiring very high thermal resistance with a Tg of 140°C.
